What is boun in?

Boun is a district in the Beqaa Governorate of Lebanon, located approximately 84 kilometers east of Beirut. The area is known for its agricultural production, particularly of apples and different types of cereals. Boun has a population of around 16,000 people, of whom the majority are Muslim. The district has a number of historical landmarks, such as the Boun Citadel, which dates back to the Crusader period, and the ancient Roman ruins of Heliopolis. Boun is also located near the popular tourist destination of Baalbek, which is home to the largest Roman temple complex in the world.
